Land Drainage Coil
Land drainage for gardens and fields
Perforated drainage coil collects surface water through small holes cut in the dwells of the coil. The flexible coil structure has a 90 degree bend radius over 1m. In agriculture, this assists drainage in fields and improves soil quality. In construction, it alleviates flooding and relieves static load on underground structures and retaining walls.
Perforated land drain is also useful in sports fields and as lawn and garden drainage in smaller diameters.
Unperforated (solid) land drain is for distributing collected surface water, as unlike perforated coils, they have no holes for water to drain in to. This is primarily for attenuation where water is stored and sent to a watercourse (such as a stream or river), a soakaway/french drain, attenuation crates or a water storage tank. These flexible drainage pipes also have a 90 degree bend radius over 1m
